De Tonti Square Park

Located at 311 N Conception Street, De Tonti Square Park is at the center of Mobile’s De Tonti Square Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. Named in honor of Henri de Tonti, this nine block area consists mainly of townhouses built between 1840 and 1860. It includes numerous examples of the Federal, Greek Revival, and Italianate architectural styles.
